Heron Lake BioEnergy, a Granite Falls Energy facility, is located one mile northeast of Heron Lake, Minnesota, on the south side of Highway 60. Since beginning operations in 2009, HLBE has played an important role in creating value from corn while supporting local agriculture and rural communities.

Facility Overview
- Produces 67.5 million gallons of ethanol annually
- Processes approximately 22 million bushels of corn each year
- Produces 164,000 tons of Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) annually for livestock feed
- Employs 38 full-time team members
- Supplies clean-burning, high-octane ethanol to fuel markets throughout Minnesota and across the United States

- All grain must be paid out by check or deferred within 30 days of delivery.
- All overrun is automatically priced at the end of the day.
- All trucks must have a CompuWeigh scan card, available from the main office.

Ethanol Truck Loading
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
